On Tuesday, last week our class went on a trip to a farm. There were no animals on this Farm, just crops. Firstly we were welcomed by the Farmers and could see different types of wheat. We were told how to make different products of them, such as flour and beer. Then we went to the field and could run and walk through the forest. In the Forest I found a feather and saw geese after we ate lunch. Then we went to see the machines that they use at the farm and took some pictures. Then we went back to school. My favourite part of the day was when we went to run in the wheat field because they grew so high we could barely see each other.

When we went to the the farm we met a farmer called Simon and he showed us a huge wheat field and we ran through it!

After, we went through the woods and we found some interesting rocks and bones we also found a really big tree house. Then we had to go up a very steep hill to get to the other side.

Finally we got back to the barn and we had some lunch and we all got to have a go in the tractor and took some photos then we got back on the coach and waved goodbye.

Then Sara put us in groups after she did this we had oats for example and we got to touch them and we had what oats made.It made Flapjacks.Next a man came in and told us that we were going to a wild forest. Then he said that we can pick up anything we want.We also got to run through wheat. Then we walked even longer and we got to see a treehouse after that the man told us that it was built on the day of his daughters wedding.
Towards the end we got to go in the tractor. Then we got our stuff and went back to school.
    The end but it
    was a lovely

In the morning I woke up really early to go to Clothall Farm.
My Mum and Daddy prepared a really good snack with cherries, crisps and croissants.
Before school started every class went to the classrooms and we were the last ones to go inside.

In the bus my friends and I were playing hand clap games we knew since we were in year one and we also played I spy, 21 dares and chopsticks. I was really a lovely trip, we saw horses outside the window and I named one Spirit.

At the farm we had to go to really small toilets, they looked odd.
When we got in the barn there were two farmers, Farmer Helen and Farmer Simon. They explained how they worked on the farm and how they help people around us.
There were 5 sacks with five different grains. I can only remember one of the names, it was barley. There was also a seed that made your hands all floury.

I really liked the farm and I would really like to go there again.

On Thursday I went to a crop farm called Clothall Bury. We had to go on a coach because it was a long way to go and it was out of London.
When we got there it looked like a rubbish dump. But then we saw a barn, we went in and sat on benches and hay stacks. We weren’t allowed to eat but we got to eat cereal covered in dried chocolate.
There was a farmer called Helen and she showed us how to make Weetabix from wheat. Then we met a farmer called Simon. He showed us a wheat field and explained how he was going to give the field away but luckily we got to run in it before he sold it.Then he took us into a wood and collected stuff. I collected two feathers and part of a back bone which I now wear as a necklace.
After, we saw a treehouse and went down a slope and saw geese. We went back to the barn and ate. Then we went in a tractor and sat in the driver’s seat.
Later we went in the coach and went back to school.

On Tuesday 20th of June me and my classmates went to the farm. We were split into groups,I was with Miss Joanna. We went by coach to Clothall Bury Farm. When we arrived we walked to a barn and left our bags in there. We met farmer Simon and Helen.
In the barn there were some buckets full of seeds, each teacher stepped near one of them. We had to join our teacher and go clockwise. We learned all about different types of seeds and found out how they could be used to make some products like beer and flour.
After that we went outside and farmer Siomon told us a story about his friendship with the other farmer. Then we went to the wheat field, Mr. Simon told us some facts about it. We could run inside and me and Dawid were hiding.
For our next adventure we waked to the woods. There were so many nettles and sharp plants. Me and some other people used sticks to avoid them while walking. The best part of the trip was collecting: bones, sticks ,unusual looking rocks and feathers. We also saw a tree house. I wish to have one at home, so I could make a secret club.
When we went back to the barn we had our lunch. After that Miss took some photos while we were sitting on the tractor. At the end we drove back to school. It was my most favourite trip.

We drove to the farm by bus and it was so hot that we needed to put suncream on. When we got to the farm I saw buildings, lots of plants and berds. We walked around and learnt how to plant the seeds in the ground. My favorite bit was when we collected bones, feathers, sticks and lots of other things. It was a very nice trip!

On the 20th of June we went to Clothall Bury Farm in Hertford. On the way I sat next to Jahiem and we sang songs which were Minions banana song, I lava you and food groups are rocking tonight. When we made it to the farm firstly we went to the toilet and then went into the shed and sat down on hay bales. Then Farmer Helen us all about about barley, oats, wheat. After we went and looked and also described them. Then farmer Simon said They were going to sell the farm so we were the last one to run across oats which was the best part because we got to hide down and it was a bit like hide and seek. Then Farmer Simon took us down the woods and I picked up a massive stick and a massive rock. Near the end of the woods Jahiem, Kristel and Nadia got stung but we went up a very, steep hill. Then back at the shed we went to eat lunch and I had a ham, cheese and ketchup sandwich, two cheese strings, two brioche breads and plantain chips. After we all went to take a picture in the tractor. Then we went back or school.

Firstly, we went on a coach for one hour. When we arrived we met two farmers: farmer Helen and farmer Simon. There were bowls and in the bowls there were different seeds. We saw oil in one of the bowls. We got to touch the seeds but not the ones with the oil, because we would get our hands really dirty. Then farmer Simon took us on a walk. He let us run across the field and told us that farmers don’t usually let us do that. We were touching the flowers when Simon told us that these type of flowers will make our skin red and it will sting and really hurt. Then we went to the woods. It was really quiet. Farmer Simon told us to close our eyes and when we hear something to point to it and when we see something moving to also point to it. I saw a bumble bee. Then farmer Simon told Emmanuel to lead us to a quiet place where a group of people can tell what is troubling them. Farmer Simon let us collect some things that look quite weird. I collected a stick that looked like a pen. Lots of people collected feathers and Gambriella found the biggest one. Then we went further. Farmer Simon let us pick some wheat from the field. Then we went through the woods and we saw a tree house. I got stung on my left knee which hurt and then it eventually stopped and got better. Then we walked down a river which didn’t have any water inside. Everyone helped each other to go down the hill and up the hill. Then we walked back to the farm. As we were walking back to the farm we all saw geese. Miss made sure that no one went close to the geese because they could bite us. When we walked back to the farm we had to wash our hands and then have lunch. I had water, sandwiches, a smoothie and chips. After lunch we got to sit in the tractor with a friend and take a picture. The teachers also took a picture. Then we took our packed lunches and drove back to school. I learnt that you can make beer out of wheat. I enjoyed the bit when we got to run through the field because we had lots of fun doing it.

On Tuesday I went to a farm with my class. First we went on the coach and it was a one hour drive! When we got there we went to the toilet and sat down so that the farmers could introduce themselves. The farmers names were Simon and I cant remember the other one sorry. Firstly we had different seeds around and we looked at them. After that, there was a wheat field and we got to run through it and it was really fun. Then we walked around the farm but we went out of the farm as well into a forest. Also there were these spiky plants so that why we brought long trousers. When we were deep in the forest there was a little fire place because on Wednesday Simon had a mini group joined him and they did lots of stuff around. After a long walk the farmer Simon said we could pick something up what we liked and I picked up a brick. A long time after I picked up the brick there was a little house that Simon and his group built and a bit after there was a tree house! Two times there was a hill down so we got a bit stuck when we were going up the hill because it was wet and it was wet because there was water there. When we were coming back we saw geese but Simon said not to go near them because they might bite you. Then we got back to the farm and ate lunch. Then we went in a tractor and had a photo. Then we went home.

    Going to the farm!!

One day I woke up and realized that it was a day that I would be going out on a trip. So I got out of bed. My mum gave me breakfast which I gobbled up. When I had finished eating my breakfast I got ready for school. So I got my clothes on and washed my face and brushed my teeth. Then I was finished getting ready so I got my bag then I went to put my shoes on as soon as I’d done that my mum came and we left.

Then when I arrived at school I met all my friends. Then everyone got their coats and left.

I went on a coach to the farm. When I arrived at the farm a man that worked on the farm took my class to a place where there were lots of weeds. He asked my class if we would like to run in the weeds, everyone replied “yes”, so he said “go on then!” Everybody shouted with joy and ran into the weeds like a group of happy meerkats. Then everyone ran back to the farm man.

After that, we went to the forest and we found a tree house, a wooden normal house, animal bones, lots of wood and stones. Then we went too far into the woods so we were in the weeds again. I then dropped into a big hole, a hole so big I could fit my whole body into it. I climbed out of the hole.

After coming back from the woods we all had lunch. I ate two rice-balls and lots of carrots, and Mentos. After I finished eating my food I played a game of tag. In the farm I had to sit on a bench made out of hay (hay for the horses). It was fun to play the games.

Before it was time to go back to school we went outside and took pictures with cameras. When we had finished we got back on the coach and waved goodbye to the farm man and coach drove us back.

One day my whole class went on a school trip to a farm. As we were on the farm the first thing we did was that we went off the coach and got to a building that it should be our main building because we were going there a lot but we were outside even more with Simon. Outside Simon told us a story about friendship and it was very interesting. My favorite time in the farm was when my whole class went to the forest and my second favorite time was when the whole class was running through the field. My class was picking up sticks, feathers and bones from the floor. This was a very fun trip.
